Global Service Sponsors Projects

Social Development Education of Southern Sudanese by Radio

SudanGlobal Service Sponsors purpose in this project is to supplement on the ground efforts by NGOs in bringing about permanent and sustainable transformation of the Southern Sudanese community.

To this effect the project will be producing and broadcasting radio programs to provide accessible training in life skills and community development for Southern Sudanese.

Location: Southern Sudan

Nigerian HIV/AIDS Development Project

NigeriaThe purpose of this project by Global Service Sponsors is to educate and raise awareness within the Nigerian community of the prevention of and care for those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Many strategies will be used including training the trainer courses, counselling training, peer support and education, direct care, orphan education, anti-retroviral treatment and educational resources.

Location: Plateau State, Nigeria

NuWEDA Development Project

The purpose of this Global Service Sponsors project is to partner with NuWEDA in its work amongst the refugees of the Nuba Mountain region in providing kindergarten education to children and literacy & training to adults.
